Making A Purchase

HOW DO I SHOP ON-LINE?

Shopping on-line is quick and easy.
Just browse through the shop pages and when you spot an item you would like to purchase click the "buy" or "Add To Basket" button once.
When you have finished your shopping, view your shopping basket, where you can change quantities, or remove items if you change your mind.
The thing to remember is that you can change your mind at any time.
Please be patient as pages can take a little time to download depending on the internet connection.
Goods are offered subject to availability and are not for third party resale.
We make every effort to ensure the images on the website are an accurate representation of the item for sale. Please understand that colours vary on all monitors so the colour may be slightly different to what you see. Also contents of mixed packets, like button packs, may vary from time to time, this is outside our control as they are packed by the manufacturer.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?

We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo and Maestro. We reserve the right to request alternative payment methods in certain circumstances.

HOW WILL I KNOW THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED MY ORDER?

Please enter your e-mail address correctly as this is used to send you an acknowledgement of your order. We may use your email address to tell you about special offers and send you newsletters. If you prefer not to receive these e-mails, just let us know.

HOW MUCH IS POST AND PACKING?

Orders in the U.K, Isle of Man and Channel Islands- Free p&p for orders over £30.00 (orders £30.00 or under will be charged £1.99 p&p)
Orders in Europe - £6.50 p&p.
Orders outside Europe - £9.55 p&p.

CAN I SHOP FROM OVERSEAS?

Yes- we get many orders from outside the U.K.

Your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
You can use the "select Currency" option on the website but remeber that this will use the current currency conversion rate which may be different than the one your credit card company uses.

WHAT IF I PREFER NOT TO SHOP ON-LINE?

That's fine too! We are always happy to take orders over the telephone, you may use your credit or debit card, please have this ready when you ring.

Delivery Schedule

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?

Orders will be sent out within a couple of days (usually the same day), if there is going to be a delay we will contact you.

Back Orders

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE GOODS I ORDER ARE OUT OF STOCK?

If we are not able to supply the item, you will not be charged for it, and the remainder of your order will be dispatched promptly.

Tax Charges

WILL I BE CHARGED VAT?

No, we are not registered for VAT.
 

Credit Card Security

IS SHOPPING ON-LINE SECURE?

We take your security very seriously.
If you select "Pay with Credit Card" you will be forwarded to WorldPay Card Processing where your payment will be dealt with using the latetst in secure systems including 3D secure. If your are registered with 3D secure you will be asked for your password.
If you have a PayPal account you can also pay by PayPal. You will be directed to PayPal to process your payment.

Craftdepartment.com do not have access to any security information or card details that you enter at the WorldPay or PayPal websites.

We are covered by the Data Protection Act and do not sell or disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on the site to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket once you have chosen an item.

 

Returns Policy

WHAT IF I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH MY GOODS?

Under consumer law you may return the goods provided they are in a saleable condition within 28 days for a full refund of the value, however postal costs are not refundable.
If your goods are damaged when you receive them, we will replace the goods and the postage or give you a full refund if that's what you prefer.
 

Loyalty Points

Every time you make a purchase online at Craft Department you will be awarded loyalty points.
One loyalty point is awarded for every £1 you spend.
Each Loyalty point has a value equivalent to £0.05 discount on any future purchases at Craft Department.
Loyalty points can only be redeemed against purchases at Craft Department.
Loyalty points have no cash value.
